DAVID LEVESQUE started studying violin at the age of ten, performing with four symphony orchestras and a string quartet by the time he graduated from high school in Largo, Florida. He earned a reputation as a musical clown early, composing and conducting the debut performances of such novelty orchestral pieces as Fanfare for the Deaf Man, Suite for Musical Chairs, and the after-dinner classic, Symphonia for Tableware and Three Napkins. He found a niche in musical theater and cabaret, both on stage and in the orchestra pit, since his debut as the title character in Fiddler on the Roof in 1971. He learned to juggle at, of all places, the United States Coast Guard Academy in 1976 and very soon after found unusual ways to showcase it in his acts. Since 1985, David has further expanded his performances into the areas of both improvisational and stand-up comedy, regaling audiences of all ages with funny stories as well as zany physical and musical antics. He's an all-round entertainer, and a very funny violinist.
